Cadena SER has confirmed Manchester City striker Erling Haaland indeed has a release clause in his contract.

The report reveals Haaland’s release clause stands at £200m [€227m] and is active starting from 2024. After that, it starts decreasing.

“It works for any club in the world, not just for Real Madrid,” says reporter Lu Martin.

Haaland has been in brilliant form since joining Manchester City from German side Borussia Dortmund. He has bagged 19 goals in just 12 games for Manchester City so far.
