Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has assured Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger that he is a very important player to the club.
Rudiger joined Real Madrid during the summer transfer window from Chelsea and has started just once in the Champions League for the club. He has also made just four starts in the La Liga.
Ancelotti said: “Rüdiger knows very well he is very important to us, he’s a world-class defender like Militao, Alaba and Nacho.”
Meanwhile, Real Madrid star Rodrygo has jokingly hit out at Panini for excluding him from the Brazil squad in their World Cup sticker album.
Speaking to TNT Sports, the 21-year-old said: “If a player is at Real Madrid and he is doing things well, he has more chances (of going to the World Cup). But I have to work because the competition is very high and I know that if I make a mistake the chance of staying is very great.
“Of course (I was frustrated about not being in the album), I had to be. Po, put the lightning in the album, right? It’s a dirty trick!”
