Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti will rest Karim Benzema for Saturday’s La Liga game against Getafe, according to Diario AS.

Ancelotti intends to replace Benzema with Brazilian forward Rodrygo in the starting XI for the game against Getafe while Federico Valverde or Marco Asensio are the options for the Right wing spot.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid star Federico Valverde has reacted after Luis Suarez compared him to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Valverde told Infobae: “It’s spectacular when you are compared to such a player, to a star, a world idol, not just a Liverpool one. It’s amazing.

“I see characteristics of him, obviously, I’m not going to say no, but one always looks out for oneself.”
