According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports, PSV forward Cody Gakpo is keen on taking the next step in his career by joining Real Madrid.

The 23 year old forward has scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists in just 9 league games for PSV this season. He has 3 goals and 1 assists in just 2 Europa League games for the Dutch side.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has now explained why he releases Real Madrid’s line-up two hours before games.

According to the Italian tactician, he doesn’t care to keep his line-up secret.

Ancelotti said: “Why do we release our XIs two hours before the games? I don’t care to keep our XI secret. I have always communicated my line-up two hours before. I don’t know what has changed.”
