Newcastle United star and Brazil international Bruno Guimaraes has hailed Real Madrid as the best club in the world but insists he is happy in the Premier League with Newcastle United.

Guimaraes said: “I never doubted the project, I believe in it. I always wanted to play in the Premier League and I am now just enjoying that.

“The ground love me and I love them. I want to keep going. I want to be a legend here.

“Real Madrid is the best team in the world. It is nice. But it is just a conversation, it is nothing.”

Meanwhile, According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports, PSV forward Cody Gakpo is keen on taking the next step in his career by joining Real Madrid.

The 23 year old forward has scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists in just 9 league games for PSV this season. He has 3 goals and 1 assists in just 2 Europa League games for the Dutch side.
