Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has suggested Real Madrid’s progress to the Champions League round of 16 will make it difficult for Manchester City to win the Champions League.

Despite being very successful at Manchester City, Guardiola has failed to win the Champions League and the Manchester City boss has blamed Real Madrid’s dominance in the Champions League as the reason why the Premier League side can’t win the Champions League.

Reporter asked Guardiola: “Why is it so difficult to win the Champions League?”

Pep Guardiola replied: “Because Real Madrid is always there.”

Real Madrid have won the Champions League a record 14 times.
