Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has called Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger a beast following his brave equaliser in the 1-1 draw against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday.

Rudiger collided with the Shakhtar Donetsk goalkeeper as he scored the equaliser and required 20 stitches after the incident.

Kroos posted a picture on Instagram after the game where he labelled Rudiger “a beast”. Rudiger responded to the post by praising Kroos for providing the assist for the goal.

Rudiger is now a doubt for the weekend’s El Clasico against Barcelona.
