Barcelona star Jules Kounde may be fit for Sunday’s El Clasico between Real Madrid and Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 23-year-old suffered an injury on the 23rd of September in his left thigh while away on international duty with the French national team.

Barcelona boss Xavi Hernandez hinted on Tuesday that the France international defender may return against Real Madrid on Sunday.

Xavi said: “It will depend on how he feels, but I see that he is doing well. I feel that he can make it for Sunday, yes.”
