Real Madrid remain interested in signing Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe despite missing out on both players during the summer transfer window, according to AS.

Mbappe opted to extend his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, while Haaland joined Manchester City last summer despite both players being linked with moves to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have received positive news regarding both players and are plotting an ambitious double swoop in 2024.

Mbappe has a contract with PSG until 2024 but is currently unsettled at the French club and is keen on leaving while Haaland has a €180-million release clause that is activated for foreign clubs in 2024.
