Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has praised Real Madrid fans for creating a fantastic atmosphere at the Santiago Bernabeu during the El Clasico on Sunday.

Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-1 thanks to goals from Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Rodrygo.

Ancelotti said: “It’s nothing new to me. The fans have always been close to us. What happened last year brought us even closer to them. It was like a Champions League night with the atmosphere and the team responded.”
