Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos has given his verdict on Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger, who was signed from Chelsea as a free agent in the summer.

Speaking to Real Madrid TV, Carlos said: “Rüdiger represents what the Real Madrid shirt means.

“The effort, the dedication, the commitment. And he is also a person who makes himself loved. He is very funny, you have to see him on trips, he acts like a Brazilian.

“He is also a player who is attentive to the younger players. The youngsters admire him and learn from him and the veterans respect him a lot.

“We have to congratulate Madrid because they made a great signing.”
