Kylian Mbappe and Olivier Giroud have congratulated Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema after he won the 2022 Ballon d’Or.

Following the confirmation of Benzema’s capture of the latest edition of the golden ball, Giroud went on to post a story via his Instagram account. As reported by RMC Sport, his post reads, “Congratulations Karim Benzema.”

Mbappe, who finished sixth in the Ballon d’Or rankings, wrote in his Instagram story, “Congratulations brother. Deserved!”
