Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has singled Federico Valverde out for praise following his impressive performance in Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Elche on Wednesday night.

Valverde scored his sixth goal of the season as Real Madrid won at Elche.

Ancelotti said: “I’m surprised by Fede Valverde. He’s good at everything. He’s a modern midfielder.”
