Lille forward Jonathan David is attracting interest from Real Madrid after scoring 9 goals in 12 games for French club Lille this season.

The Canadian forward has admitted he dreams of playing for a big club like Real Madrid and believes he can adapt to the La Liga.

“I was always watching European football on TV. That was always my goal, I just wanted to go to Europe,” he said.

“The next step is always to grow, to have more ambition. Every player wants to play for a huge club in his life. If I had the chance to do that, I would do it,” confessed Jonathan David.

He also added he was open to moving to the La Liga or Premier League. He added: “I think they are two different leagues, but I think I can adapt to both for sure.”
