Following Tuesday’s 3-2 Champions League defeat to RB Leipzig on Tuesday night away in Germany, Real Madrid players were given Wednesday and Thursday as off days.

The players are to return to training on Friday ahead of Sunday’s La Liga game against Girona at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Real Madrid are top of the La Liga with 31 points, three points clear of second-place Barcelona after 11 games.
