Real Madrid are set to launch a bid for Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus next summer, according to The Sun.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is an admirer of the Brazilian forward and sees him as the ideal potential successor, to Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema.
The 25 year old Arsenal forward is on a five-man shortlist compiled by Ancelotti which also includes Alphonso Davies, Endrick, Enzo Fernandez and Piero Hincapie.
Real Madrid were interested in a move for Jesus in the summer but a move failed to materialise as Real Madrid already had three non-EU players in the squad and were unable to sign another until one left or gained citizenship.
Since then, all three of Vinicius Jr, Eder Militao and Rodrygo have gained a Spanish passport, freeing up squad spaces for non-EU players.
