Rodrygo had a late goal disallowed in Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Girona on Sunday with the referee claiming the goalkeeper was in possession of the ball.
Girona boss Michel has now revealed his take on Rodrygo’s disallowed goal.
He said: “Football-wise, I think that Rodrygo’s is a goal, but the rule says that if the goalkeeper puts his hand up, it’s a foul. For me it is a game action because the two go to the dispute.”
Girona were also controversially awarded a penalty after it was clear the ball had first hit the chest of Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio.
