The contract of Real Madrid star Toni Kroos expires at the end of the season and the German midfielder has stalled on signing a new contract with the club.
Kroos has assured Real Madrid fans he won’t leave the club to play for another club as he wants to retire at Real Madrid.
The 32 year old midfielder also revealed he will take the World Cup break to decide whether to extend his contract or retire at the end of the season.
Kroos said: “I’m very good, I feel good physically and I’m super happy.
“During the break I’m going to think about what’s going to happen and little by little I’ll decide what I’m going to do. I’m not going anywhere, I’m not going to change clubs. I’m going to retire here, the only thing I don’t know is when.
“Both the club and I are very calm. It’s a very special relationship and it’s not going to change. We’ll talk in January, February, March… we’ll see. But everything will turn out fine, that’s for sure.”
