Former Barcelona star Thierry Henry has heaped massive praise on Madrid star Federico Valverde.

The 24-year-old Uruguayan international has been phenomenal this season, and has now added goals to his game.

Valverde scored a goal in Real Madrid’s 5-1 victory over Celtic in the UEFA Champions League.

“He is bringing the energy and I don’t think he will be on the penalties anytime soon,” said Henry.

“Now, he is on six goals in the league. Two in the Champions League. Two assists in the Champions League. And two assists in the league.

“This is a guy that is very humble about it, but he is bringing more than energy.”
