From minute one to the final minute, Real Madrid had it tough against Rayo Vallecano.
The Los Blancos ended up losing the game 3-2, despite having gone ahead 2-1 in the first-half.
When analysing the problem of his team, Carlo Ancelotti revealed that his side couldn’t pass out from the back, and the team’s strategy was faulty.
Ancelotti said: “The problem in today’s game wasn’t a physical one. When I talk about winning balls and strength, I’m not talking about the physical element.
“Not getting the ball out from the back could be because of strategy, which perhaps wasn’t the most appropriate. We didn’t play the long ball. The manager may have failed somewhere.”
