Real Madrid’s form has dropped of late, which has seen the club lose its status as current league leaders to Barcelona.
The Los Blancos have gotten just a point from their last two games, and Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has put it down to a lack of intensity.
Ancelotti said: “You can see this drop in intensity when facing teams that aren’t playing in Europe and have played fewer games.
“They can play at a higher intensity than other teams. That’s pretty normal.”
“Having some players out, that has affected us, Rodrygo Vini Jr. and Valverde have played very well, but Karim and Thibaut’s absence has affected us,” the gaffer added.
