Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has come in for huge criticisms following the club’s drop in form that has seen Barcelona overtake Real at the top of the La Liga standings.

The Italian was heavily criticised after Real Madrid’s shocking 3-2 loss to Rayo Vallecano, which saw the Los Blancos play very poorly.

However, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has come in to defend Ancelotti.

According to Perez, Ancelotti remains the perfect manager for Real Madrid.

Speaking about Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti, Florentino Perez told Tuttosport: “He is undoubtedly the best coach for Real Madrid, because he has known us for many years.

“He knows our values and knows how to transmit them to the players. This makes him the perfect coach. It is difficult to find a better coach than Ancelotti.”
