France were the last winners of the World Cup, and are expected to defend their crown in Qatar.

Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema will be up against some familiar names he knows from the Madrid team – with the Brazilian contingent of Rodrygo, Vinicius Jr and Eder Militao all set for the World Cup.

France are among the favourites to win the World Cup, and Benzema also rates Brazil, Argentina and Spain.

“They are favourites, as Argentina can be, as Spain can be and France of course,” he stated.

“We have to say it and we have to show that we are the favorites and that we want to win.”
