Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr has recently revealed his frustration at being targeted by opposition players.

Real Madrid last played against Cadiz, and won the game 2-1, with Madrid players suffering from physical aggression from the opposition.

Cadiz coach Sergio Gonzalez defended his tactics after defeat to Real Madrid.

Cadiz players were accused of deliberately targeting Real pair Vini Jr and Rodrygo Goes, but Sergio Gonzalez insisted that it’s the only way to compete against Madrid.

Sergio Gonzalez said: “You have to come here to compete, if you don’t make a clash, you don’t make an aggressive foul, it’s very complicated.

“The other football is always there, there is no set plan with Vinicius, but you have to be intense. There is no doctrine.

“Vini has a lot of the ball, he has a lot of quality and it is normal for him to receive more fouls. We have been within the regulations and at a good level.”

On Fali’s clash with Rodrygo, he added: “He insists that he hasn’t taken out his elbow and if he hasn’t gone into VAR… We have understood that it was a clash, but it is normal that it can hurt him in that type of play when colliding.”
