According to Spanish media outlet Sport via Goal, Manchester City are looking to sign Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos once his contract expires next summer.

Kroos played under Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich and Guardiola is keen on reuniting with the German playmaker at Manchester City.

Kroos is seen by Manchester City as the ideal replacement for compatriot İlkay Gündoğan who may leave the club at the end of the season as a free agent.

Manchester City are willing to pay Kroos €14m per year to lure him away from the Santiago Bernabéu.
