France FA react to Camavinga racist abuse

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga was targeted by racist messages on social media, following a training incident where he injured teammate Christopher Nkunku.

The RB Leipzig attacker was caught late in a 50-50 challenge with Eduardo Camavinga which has subsequently ruled him out of the World Cup.

The French Football Federation (FFF) has moved to condemn racist messages targeted at Eduardo Camavinga after the training ground incident which will see teammate Christopher Nkunku miss the World Cup through injury.

“Following Christopher Nkunku’s injury, Eduardo Camavinga was the victim of racist messages on social media,” the French Football Federation tweeted on Thursday.

“The FFF condemns these attacks in the strongest possible terms and is in full support of Eduardo.”
