Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is nearing the end of his contract with the Los Blancos and is yet to make a decision on his future.
A number of top European sides are monitoring the situation of the 32-year-old midfielder, with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City supposedly leading the race for his signature.
According to SPORT, Manchester City have already made an approach to sign the player.
The Premier League champions are willing to offer Kroos a deal worth €14million a year – which would be around £230,000-a-week. This deal would bring an increase from his current €9million deal.
Meanwhile, Kroos can discuss with other clubs from January. The 32-year-old joined Real Madrid in 2014, and has been a top class player over the years.
