According to reports, Real Madrid are reportedly unwilling to meet Borussia Dortmund’s €150 million valuation of their midfielder Jude Bellingham.
The teenager is one of the most sought-after players in 2022, and has attracted interest from the Spanish giants, with Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United also believed to be on his trail.
Madrid are believed to be looking to sign Bellingham, having lost Casemiro to Man United during the summer, and with veterans like Toni Kroos and Luka Modric gradually getting past their prime.
However, Sport reports that the La Liga champions are not ready to pay as much as €150 million for the highly rated 19-year-old.
The development means that other contenders for Bellingham’s signature, like Liverpool can step up their pursuit of the Englishman.
Real Madrid already have young midfielders in Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni who have the potential to play at the top for many years.
