Real Madrid star reveals his best position

Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga is currently with the France national team in the ongoing World Cup in Qatar.

Camavinga who plays in the central midfield position, has revealed that his favourite position is as a number 6. He also insisted that he can play anywhere across the pitch if need be.

Speaking in a press conference in Doha, Camavinga said: “From the moment where being versatile is a positive, you can help the team at any moment.

“I am more comfortable as a #6 but even if the coach plays me as a centre-forward I will accept to play as a centre-forward.”

Camavinga was also subjected to racist abuse following his tackle that led to Christopher Nkunku’s injury which made him miss the World Cup.

Speaking about that, Camavinga said: “These are not easy times, I don’t necessarily look at what is said on social media.

“We will always be criticised but we have to remain strong mentally because we have a competition coming up.”
