Marco Asensio was on the scoresheet as Spain defeated Costa Rica 7-0 on Wednesday.
Asensio scored the 2nd goal for the Spaniards in what was an easy win for Luis Enrique’s side.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has been following the World Cup closely, and sang the praises of the Spanish team.
Ancelotti also took the time to hail Asensio following the victory.
Ancelotti wrote on his Instagram stories: “A player might win matches, but it’s the team that wins titles. I’ll end now with Spain: the team is good both on an individual and group level. Well done, Asensio.”
