Manchester United have terminated the contract of Cristiano Ronaldo by mutual consent after his revealing interview.

The 37-year-old is currently without a club and is a free agent who can be signed up after the World Cup.

According to a report by Diario AS Tomas Roncero, Cristiano Ronaldo is willing to take a pay cut to join Real Madrid.

Roncero has claimed that Ronaldo ‘would significantly lower his salary’ if he makes a return to Real Madrid.

Ronaldo is also open to a loan move until the end of the season.

However, the reports claim that Real Madrid aren’t interested in the deal and are satisfied with Karim Benzema’s recovery. The club believes Benzema will regain his top form in the second half of the season.
