Eden Hazard and his Belgium teammates are at risk of bowing out of the World Cup if they don’t beat Croatia on Thursday.

A rather bizarre scene occurred in Belgium’s pre-match press conference on Tuesday, as Hazard faced reporters.

During the press briefing, an Egyptian reporter accused Hazard of gaining weight.

The journalist told him: “I have noticed that you have gained weight.”

Hazard responded: “I don’t have much to say about that. Except it’s not true. I’ll do anything to be ready.”

According to Belgian outlet Nieuwsblad, the same reporter proceeded to ask Hazard for a selfie after the press conference was over. But the Real Madrid star was in no mood for that, as he turned down his request.
