Real Madrid have been warned they will have to pay heavily if they want to sign Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

Bellingham has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga side he joined in 2020, thanks to his increasingly mesmerising displays for club and country.

Real Madrid are among the clubs said to be interested in Bellingham, although there is heavy competition from the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.

Dortmund are said to value Bellingham at over £100 million – a price Real Madrid see as outrageous.

Speaking on the rumours circulating around the future of the English teenage, Dortmund’s managing director, Carsten Cramer, insisted he has a contract with the German side.

“He has a contract,” Cramer told Vietnam News.

“We are happy to have him on board. The longer Jude [Bellingham] will play for us the better it will be.”

Cramer was also asked if his connection with Jurgen Klopp will favour Liverpool in the race for the midfielder, to which he replied: “We both care on Dortmund, we have a high sympathy for Liverpool for sure, We are still in a good relationship with Jurgen and many others at Liverpool. For me it’s my preferred club in the EPL.

“But don’t expect that we will make gifts to Liverpool.”
