Netherlands striker Cody Gakpo is one of the World’s Cup in-form players, having netted 3 goals so far.
Gakpo is already attracting interest from the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United, and reports now claim that Real Madrid are monitoring the development of the PSV forward.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Los Blancos are following up on the 23-year-old who can play as a left-winger as well as a centre-forward.
Madrid are said to be keeping a close eye on his performances and might pounce on him if he continues his heroics at the World Cup.
Gakpo is reportedly valued by PSV at around €60m – a valuation that may go higher if his World Cup prowess continues, as he’s a valuable target for some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
