Barcelona have tried to mock Real Madrid with a provocative banner in Madrid.

The surprise came on Thursday morning, when a Barcelona store mounted a huge blue and red banner with the caption ‘Raul is Culer’, right on a building in the Spanish capital.

Barcelona opened their new store meters away from the Madrid one, and the caption was used to target Real Madrid legend Raul Gonzalez, who reportedly has a soft spot for Barcelona.

However, according to Barca, the Raul in question is a certain Raúl Martin – a Blaugrana fan who lives in Madrid and has actually been used in the advertising campaign to promote the store’s opening.

However, this is rather a scheme to take a dig at Real Madrid.
