Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos is nearing the end of his contract with the Los Blancos and is yet to make a decision on his future.

A number of top European sides are monitoring the situation of the 32-year-old midfielder, with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City supposedly leading the race for his signature.

According to SPORT, Manchester City have already made an approach to sign the player.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos has reportedly told Manchester City to forget about him.

The Premier League champions see Kroos as a replacement for Ilkay Gundogan, but it seems Kroos wants to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Kroos is said to have told City his priority is a new deal with Real Madrid.

The 32 year-old has stated publicly he’d be happy to end his career playing for Real Madrid.

Real are expected to open new contract talks in January.
