It was a disastrous outing for Eden Hazard and Belgium as they were knocked out of the World Cup in the group stage of the competition.

However, reports now have it that Hazard is thinking of quitting the international scene after a poor outing with Belgium.

Hazard reportedly had issues with teammates Jan Vertonghen and Kevin De Bruyne, after a poor display in Qatar, and now feels undermined in the team he has captained since taking over from Vincent Kompany.

Hazard, 31, could still make it to the next Euros at 33 and even the next World Cup at 35, but the Belgian is no longer the force he once was.

Roberto Martinez has confirmed that he would be leaving the job after their elimination was confirmed, and Hazard is also keen on making the same decision.

Hazard has made 126 caps to his name and has scored 33 goals for his national side, leading them to World Cup semi-final in 2018. Their third-place finish is their best ever international performance.
