It was a disastrous outing for Eden Hazard and Belgium as they were knocked out of the World Cup in the group stage of the competition.

Hazard, who’s in his third year at the club, has failed to impress since sealing a big money move from Chelsea back in 2019.

According to reports, Real Madrid have decided to cut ties with Eden Hazard after his poor performances in the World Cup with Belgium.

AS journalist Jesus Gallego, has claimed that Madrid have given up on Hazard and no longer believe the 31-year-old will recapture his best form.

He said as per 10sport: “After being enthusiastic a few times for his recovery, the club no longer thinks the player will look like he was, he is abandoned as a lost cause.”

Hazard is attracting interest from the Premier League, with Aston Villa keen on his signing, and Madrid are willing to do business.
