Luka Modric has been having a good time at the World Cup, and has captained Croatia to the semi-final of the tournament.

Croatia defeated Brazil in the quarter-final via penalty shootout, and it was indeed a dramatic scene.

Modric was up against teammate Rodrygo and former teammate Casemiro during the shootout, and he has revealed that he exposed his ex-teammate’s penalty secret.

“Did I help Livakovic with Rodrygo’s penalty? No, but I told him about Casemiro,” Luka Modric told El Chiringuito, laughing.

“I know where he [Casemiro] would have shot his penalty. Livakovic went in the right direction but Case is too good,” the Croatian added.

Dominik Livakovic saved Rodrygo’s penalty and came very close to parrying Casemiro’s shot; however, the power of the shot beat the goalkeeper.
