Luka Modric has proven to be one of the best midfielders in the world.

At 37, Modric is still a key player for club and country.

The Croatia skipper has once again maintained that he wants to end his career at Real Madrid.

Speaking about where he wants to retire at the end of his career, Luka Modric said: “For now, I’m at the World Cup and very focused on Croatia.

“What happens next, let’s see, there’s enough time to talk about everything. Of course I want to retire in Madrid, I’ve said that many times.

“You can’t say anything for 100%, but that’s my idea, and it’s a dream for me.”

It’s yet to be seen if Modric would be given a new deal at the end of the season.
