Liverpool are no longer interested in signing Borussia Dortmund ace, Jude Bellingham, according to a new report.
Real Madrid are now favourites for the 19-year-old’s signature, following the decision of Liverpool, reports Spanish news outlet Marca.
The reason for the claim is based on Liverpool’s reported interest in Benfica’s Enzo Fernandez, as it is believed that Jurgen Klopp’s side cannot get both players.
Real Madrid will allegedly try to take advantage of this and sign Bellingham while the Reds concentrate on Fernandez, according to the report.
The report, however, does state that Liverpool needs a new midfielder more urgently than Real Madrid does, and Bellingham is reportedly a “priority target” for the Spanish giants next summer.
Bellingham indeed proved himself to be a top class player at the World Cup.
