Former Real Madrid star Ivan Zamorano, has named Argentina striker Julian Alvarez as the future of the game, and believes he’s a more complete striker than Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland who have both been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent times.
Despite playing second fiddle to Haaland at Man City, Zamorano believes Alvarez is a more complete player.
“Today, in this world of modern football, it seems to me that Julian [Alvarez] is the most complete striker out of all,” former Real Madrid star Ivan Zamorano has told the media, via Ole.
“He is a boy who does everything well: he moves well on the wings, he cuts inside very well. (…) He heads the ball very well, he shoots with both feet (…)
“So, when you think of a player who would be good for the entire frontline, he is the most complete one. Haaland doesn’t do well on the wings, Mbappe doesn’t generate much danger outside his position… And Julian does all of that.
“I think that, above all things, he has a huge heart that makes him even a better player. He is undoubtedly the future of the Argentine football.”
