Real Madrid legend Cristiano Ronaldo has been training with Real Madrid since he returned from an uneventful World Cup in Qatar.
Ronaldo is bracing up for the next phase of his career after leaving Manchester United before the World Cup.
Ronaldo, who will turn 38 next February, has been linked with a big money move to Saudi Arabia.
Turkey president Recep Erdogan has confirmed that indeed the rumours are true.
“According to the information I have received, he [Ronaldo] will be transferred to Saudi Arabia,” Turkey president Recep Erdogan has told the media, via Goal.
He also claimed that some people are ‘wasting’ Cristiano’s talent – referencing how he was benched in
“Of course they waste Cristiano Ronaldo’s talent. Taking a player like him into the game in the 2nd half and playing him for 15 minutes [v Switzerland] or half an hour [v Morocco] took away both his mentality and energy.”
