A report has claimed that Real Madrid target Jude Bellingham has a secret release clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund.

The English midfielder is reportedly being targeted by the likes of Real Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City. It has also been previously claimed that he is valued at £130 million.

However the Daily Mail is saying that Bellingham actually has a release clause, and it’s just £60 million— far less than many have been led to think.

If the unconfirmed report is true, it means that Bellingham will be reasonably cheaper to buy by clubs that are interested in him, with Real Madrid among his biggest admirers.

It has to be said, however, that the claim about the clause isn’t confirmed, so we can all take it with a pinch of salt.
