Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with the vacant Brazil national team job.

Tite left the position after Brazil were knocked out of the World Cup in the quarter-final stage.

Brazil are now interested in appointing an elite European coach for their national team job, and Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has been earmarked as one of the candidates.

However, Ancelotti has denied the links with the Selecao job and has also insisted he’s not interested in leaving the Real Madrid job.

“I don’t know, I was never approached by them and the Brazil Federation never called me. I just want to stay at Real Madrid,” Ancelotti said.

“I’ll never ask Real Madrid to let me leave this club.”
