However, Madrid defender Eder Militao will also miss this tie, after being named in the initial starting line-up.

Eder Militão was named in the initial starting team, but got replaced with Alaba due to illness.

Real Madrid released a statement to confirm the news, thus: “The Brazilian defender is out at the last minute due to illness.

“Real Madrid’s starting eleven against Valladolid at the José Zorrilla has changed. Alaba replaces Militão, who is out at the last minute due to illness and will not leave the training hotel.”
