Real Madrid sold Martin Odegaard to Arsenal for £30million back in August 2021.
The Norwegian playmaker joined Madrid as a 16-year-old in 2015 and was touted as one of the biggest prospects in world football at the time.
However, he couldn’t break into the Madrid team and made only 11 senior appearances.
Following his move to Arsenal, Odegaard is beginning to show why he was highly rated as a youngster.
The 24-year-old is now Arsenal’s captain, and has been a standout performer for Mikel Arteta this season
According to reports, there is a clause in his contract that gives Real Madrid first refusal on signing him.
“There is a kind of right of first refusal for Real Madrid that we will see if at some point it makes sense for them to exercise it,” De Mon said on his YouTube channel.
Odegaard is beginning to attract massive interest from top clubs in Europe, and we won’t need surprised if he’s back to the Los Blancos.
