The Year 2022 ended on a winning note for Real Madrid, as the Los Blancos defeated Real Valladolid 2-0.

It was a difficult game at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla, and Real Madrid could only seal the victory late on.

Speaking after the game, Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti admitted it was a difficult game for his side but was gladden by the victory.

He said: “It was a tough game against a side that grew into the game. We did well in the first half, controlling the game.

“Valladolid performed well and made it a competitive game. The team wasn’t solid enough, but we came away with three points from this difficult game.”
