Speaking after the match, Carlo Ancelotti complained about the quality of the game due to the poor state of the pitch.

However, Cacereno head coach Julio Cobos, has now replied the Italian, claiming that his team has played on worse pitches than that, and that Real Sociedad scored five goals on a similar pitch.

“I think this is football… Besides, Ancelotti is older and has played on much worse pitches than these,” Cobos told Cadena SER, via Marca.

“I was surprised that Ancelotti said this [about Cacereno]. I am going to tell you one thing. In the previous tie, Coria played on their pitch against Real Sociedad… who scored 5. And their pitch was like ours.

“The Real Sociedad players knew how to understand it perfectly. I mean, the pitch is good or bad for everyone,” he added.
