Real Madrid forward Rodrygo is a man in form, and it seems the 21-year-old has now won the heart of the Italian.

Ahead of the weekend clash against Villarreal, Ancelotti was asked about Rodrygo’s form.

The Real Madrid boss took the opportunity to hail the Brazilian, and called him an important player in the team.

He said, “Rodrygo is a starting player, every game he plays is important.

“There are no headlines, few, few. In the locker room I have rotated very little with Vinicius. Rodrygo played when (Karim) Benzema was injured. The important thing is that Rodrygo can play in any position in front and makes a difference.

“He is not a specialist in one position, but in attacking football.”
